At the time of writing, Lanzarote is in phase 3 of the de-escalation process which began officially on June 8th.
There are social distancing rules in place still to ensure everyone remains safe and masks are required where social distancing cannot be maintained. Many of the bars, cafes, restaurants, speciality shops and a host of other non-essential business are already open. Social meetings of groups of up to 20 people are permitted and weddings can be held for up to 150 guests in open-air spaces and 75 indoors. Museums, Cinemas and theatres can open with up to 50% capacity.
Also, we are now all enjoying the beaches and of course the stunning weather that has blessed us daily since our strict lockdown ended.
At present, with testing on the island having been ramped up, days go by with no new positive results. This week’s figures confirmed that Lanzarote has no new Covid-19 cases. The number of total cases, since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, stands at just 87, of which only 3 remain in treatment, whilst 78 people have fully recovered. Lanzarote proved to be one of the least affected European regions.
However, we are not writing this post to gloat over how lucky we are, far from it, rather we are looking forward to some of you coming here to take advantage of the islands unique benefits…

We may also need to request additional documentation from guests to validate identity, travel itinerary and other relevant information.
Please note that at present we are not offering mid-stay cleans, this is recommended by local guidelines, in order to minimise interaction between our housekeeping teams and your family during your stay. Our management/maintenance team are local, working as normal, ‘on-call’ to you throughout for any urgent support.
