This site sets none of its own.
One thing on it does — the booking calendar — and that does not load until you press something. This is the whole of it.
This site
This site sets no cookie of its own and holds no identifier that would let us recognise you on a later visit, or on anybody else's website. The typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font CDN, and the map is drawn in your browser out of plain map data instead of being embedded from Google — CARTO, who serve that data, set nothing either. The one thing kept on your device is your own answer to the question about the calendar, which has a section of its own at the foot of this page.
Page views are counted by Vercel, whose measurements are sent to this domain rather than to a third party, and which keeps nothing on your device in order to do it.
The booking calendar
Booking is handled by Beds24. Their booking page is shown inside ours at the foot of the home page, and it is the only part of this site that belongs to somebody else.
What loads it is your answer. Accept, and their page is fetched along with ours from then on. Decline, or say nothing at all, and where the calendar goes there is a link — until you follow it your browser has not contacted beds24.com at all. Whichever way it arrives, their page then sets a single cookie, named booking, which holds the dates and details you type while you fill the form in and which your browser discards when you close it. Anything further their page does is covered by their privacy policy rather than by this one.
Following that link is a request for the page you are on and nothing more: it is not an answer, and nothing is written down for it. Come back tomorrow having declined, and the calendar is a link again.
Refusing
Declining is a complete refusal. Nothing loads, nothing is set, and the rest of the site behaves exactly as it did — there is no reduced version of it for saying no, and no second banner asking whether you are sure.
If you accepted and would rather you had not, change the answer at the foot of this page: the calendar goes back to being a link, and the cookie Beds24 already set expires when you close your browser. Your browser will also block or delete cookies for a single site if you would rather not rely on that. You are equally welcome to skip the calendar and write to us instead, which involves no third party at all.
Your answer
However you answered, the answer is remembered — otherwise the question would be put to you again on every page. Changing it here takes effect at once and needs no reason. It is the same single press it took to give, which is the standard a withdrawal has to meet.
What is kept is one entry in this site's local storage, named villa-alcalde.cookies, holding the word granted or denied. It is not a cookie, it is never sent anywhere, and it says nothing about you beyond what you answered. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it, and the question is asked again.
